Store

Calicamp turns the boot space of your campervan or all terrain vehicle into a useful storage area. A large drawer can be pulled out, giving immediate access to all travel items. A smart storage system allows to freely arrange the layout of all the things inside, and straps everything secure. No containers or boxes required, saving valuable space. If there is sufficient space available, we can also install a water tank and/or a refrigerator.

Function

Load capacity is 100kg depending on the space in your campervan. Calicamp is available for all campers with a tailgate, type VW California, Mercedes Marco Polo, and many others, but also for all terrain vehicles with e.g. a rooftop tent. A trunk of 730mm wide, 250mm high and 750mm deep is sufficient. The drawer is custom made so that all available space can be used. Installation is done via the seat rails or mounting points in the floor of the vehicle.

It can easily be removed from the vehicle in 2 minutes.

Cook

The Calicamp system can be extended with a to the right or to the left foldable kitchen frame. This frame is available in 2 lengths (2½ and 3½ positions). Upon unfolding, modular kitchen equipment can then be inserted depending the menu of the day. Several combinations of prep area's, gas stoves, food bins, barbecues and ovens are possible. The barbecue can be used to grill, smoke, steam and bake. The storage area remains accessible while cooking.

Design

Calicamp equipment is 100% designed and made in Belgium. The compact design, while pleasing to the eye, focuses on function with minimal impact on space and weight, just like our great campervans do. Only durable materials are used, ensuring a lifetime that should exceed that of the van, and offering many unforgettable cooking and dining moments.

Who are we ?

Hello, my name is Sven. I'm an engineer, and an experienced carpenter/furniture maker,

proud of having created the Calicamp pull out kitchen out of personal necessity.

It happened in 2017, on one of our family travels with our VW T6 California Ocean through Italy.

A great country, especially if you like to stroll over the cosy markets in those beautiful villages in the countryside. After having filled our shopping bag at numerous local food stalls, we had to

figure out how on earth we were going to cook all these delicious ingredients we had found

- without spoiling the interior of our California with stains and smells -

In the end, we always managed more or less, but it made us wonder how we could

improve our already great campervan ... the idea of the pull out kitchen was born.

Today, several Calicamp pull out kitchens are crossing Europe, thanks to our Belgian, Dutch, German Austrian, and Spanish customers. Perhaps you have seen one already ? Given the photos they send me regularly I'm sure they are as happy with their campervan upgrade as we are. And due to general demand, we now also make our drawer available for other brands of campervans (Mercedes, Citroën, Peugeot, Nissan, Renault, Toyota...) and all terrain vehicles (Mercedes, Landrover, VW, Toyota,...)
